Robert Dyke

Robert Lawrence Dyke 70 of Akron Ohio passed away April 26 2013 at Akron General Medical Center. He was born on February 6 1943 in East Liverpool Ohio to Raymond and Edith (Flanagan ) Dyke . Robert is survived by Wife of 45 years Brenda Sons Michael (Robin) Dyke Wayne (Shera) Dyke Daughter Jill Dyke; Grandchildren Kylie Ryan Sydney Tyler Gia Alexis; Sisters Virginia (Norman) Newhouse Shirley (John) Chambers; Brother in Law Larry Ewins. He was preceded in death by: Parents Raymond and Edith Dyke; Sister Patty Ewins. Robert was employed by the Copley School System for 27 years. He was a veteran of the Marine Corp serving during the Vietnam War and a Past Master of National Lodge No. 568 F. & A.M. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. Copley where Masonic services will be held at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 am at the funeral home Pastor Kevin Truex officiating. Private interment will be held at Copley Cemetery with military services.
